"Thank you for asking me to contribute to the web page. I say this becuase I did have a once in a life time hunt at the Bergzicht Hunting lodge. The housepatality was excelante. The food was very well prepared the house was very clean at all time. Hannes was allways there for me making sure that what ever I needed I got it. I hunted for five days and harvested 14 diffrent species. All my tropheis were looked at via picture by the Safari Club members here in El Paso, Tx. and some they think can make GOLD trophies. "I hunted with Hannes in July 2006. This was my first trip to Namibia and I could not have picked a better PH to hunt with than Hannes. My wife and son came along and it was the best vacation we have ever had. My son Daniel and I hunted and My wife Judy rode with us each day, she does not hunt but had a great time observing the different species of game on Hannes' ranch. Daniel and I took Kudu, Zebra, Springbok, Blue and Black Wildebeast, Oryx and Red Hartebeast. Aside from a great hunting experience the Lodge, the meals and the staff were outstanding. Hannes goes to great lengths to make sure that everything is in order. I would hunt with him anywhere as he knows what it takes to get you in range of your trophy and his trackers John and Marcus are excellent in spotting and tracking skills. Hannes' wife Geraldine is a wonderful person and was able to take my wife Judy shopping while Daniel and I were hunting , this was an extra that my wife truly enjoyed. I would recomend Bergzicht to anyone and have booked with Hannes again in 2008."

"Hunting at Bergzicht Farm is a "Win-win" experience, with Hannes as host and Geraldine as hostess. This was our first hunt in Africa (June, 2006) and we could never have imagined how nice it was to be. Hannes is a true professional and understands game and game management as few others do. We took great trophies of kudu, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, red hartebeest, and warthog--unbelievable! Geraldine has the lodge running like the Hilton Hotel and we felt very pampered.
