My wife, Jan, and I travelled to Namibia in October of 2005 to hunt with Hannes du Plessis of Bergzicht Hunting on his 37,000 acres. What a paradise! From one promotory, we saw "SW Africa" as it must have appeared 500 years ago--not a road or fence in sight and 8 kudu bulls in sight at one time. We took 8 trophies, all exceptional, and will recommend Bergzicht and Hannes heartily to everyone wanting a truly great travel experience.

I hunted early november 2006, wether was not to hot for hunting during the day and fresh at night .Umberto , my hunting partner, knows very well Bergzicht and together with Hannes was an exelent guide to this beatyfull land and animals.

I had a very nice Eland in a different farm but organised by Hannes and at Bergzicht a very nice Kudu , Orix , Hartebeest , Sprinbok and a Warthog.

All the organisation was exelent and the Hunting great. Geraldin, a very charming a good organising lady , is providing you the best ospitality you can imagin in Namibia.

I hope to have the opportunity to come back to Bergzicht Lodge and spend another hunting week with Hannes and Geraldine .

Very good hunting outside the fence. I took a 57.5" kudu. Good hunting inside the fence too, where I took a nice Orix. Hannes is a great pro, and the hunting is extremely fair.
