My wife, Jan, and I travelled to Namibia in October of 2005 to hunt with Hannes du Plessis of Bergzicht Hunting on his 37,000 acres. What a paradise! From one promotory, we saw "SW Africa" as it must have appeared 500 years ago--not a road or fence in sight and 8 kudu bulls in sight at one time. We took 8 trophies, all exceptional, and will recommend Bergzicht and Hannes heartily to everyone wanting a truly great travel experience.

I had the privilege to hunt at Bergzicht in 2003 and 2004. The first hunt was with my family, my son daughter and I participated in the hunt. Not only did we enjoy an excellent hunting experience, but were totally spoilt by Hannes and Geraldine, our hosts. The quality of service, facilities, and food were extraordinary. In 2004 I took two friends along, and enjoyed a wonderful hunt again. Although the service at Bergzicht is extremely professional, we felt part of the family with Hannes and Geraldine. I will recommend a hunt on this beautiful ranch to anyone without hesitation.
