• Etosha National Park
Etosha was declared a National Park in 1907 and covers an area of 22 270 km, it is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species and, surprisingly, one species of fish. After the Serengeti national park, the Etosha has the highest density of wild animals in the whole of Africa. A visit is definitely worthwhile. Book well in advance.
• Popa Falls
The Popa Falls Resort is situated on the banks of the mighty Kavango River, at the last rapids, before the river enters Botswana and the Okavango Delta. This rustic resort, situated 15km from the Mahango Game Reserve, is the perfect stop-over when travelling between the Khaudum and Mahango Game Reserves.
